Jill Krowinski is the current Speaker of the Vermont House of Representatives. She previously served as Majority Leader from 2017-2021. Krowinski was first elected to the Vermont House in 2012. Prior to joining the legislature, Krowinski worked as an elementary school teacher. She has focused much of her legislative work on education policy, healthcare reform, the opioid crisis, climate change, and women's issues. Krowinski graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont with a degree in Psychology. She lives in Burlington, Vermont with her husband and three children.read less
