Jessica Bahmuller was born and raised in New Orleans. She attended Benjamin Franklin High School. In college, Bahmuller studied political science and women's studies at Loyola University New Orleans. After graduating, she worked in the hotel industry. In 2017, Bahmuller was elected to represent District 93 in the Louisiana House of Representatives. She serves on the House Commerce Committee and the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget. Bahmuller ran for a second term in 2019 and won.read less
