Jerry W. Stevenson is running for U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Kansas. Stevenson operates the family farm which was homesteaded by his great grandfather in 1879. He attended Kansas State University where he received a degree in agricultural economics. After college, Stevenson returned home to farm with his father before taking over operations himself. Stevenson is involved with Farm Bureau, Kansas Livestock Association, and his local electric cooperative board. He believes the next Congress should focus on reducing inflation and energy costs that are hurting Kansas families.read less
