Jerome Moon is a Republican member of the Kansas State Board of Education. Moon earned his BA in Education from Wichita State University in 1987 and worked as a teacher before serving on the Derby Board of Education from 2009-2013. In 2016, Moon won election to the State Board representing District 1. He serves on committees dealing with school accreditation, human resources, and government relations. Moon believes in promoting school choice and thinks education funds should follow students rather than systems.read less
