Amos earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Albany State University in 1978. He later obtained his Master's in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2007. Amos has worked as a realtor and owns several small businesses. He currently serves on the Sumter County Board of Elections.
