ABOUT

Jeremy A. Cooney was raised in Rochester, New York. He attended Rochester City public schools and graduated from St. John Fisher College with a degree in political science. After college, Jeremy joined the Peace Corps and served in Botswana, Africa, where he worked at an HIV/AIDS clinic with young people affected and infected by the disease. After the Peace Corps, Jeremy served as vice president of development for Willow Domestic Violence Center, a non-profit organization in Rochester. He also helped lead and grow regional non-profits as a fundraiser and board director to organizations across the Finger Lakes region. He lives in Rochester with his wife Nicole and their dog Luna.read less
