Jamie Pedersen was born in Seattle and grew up in Ballard. He graduated from Yale University and Yale Law School. After clerking for a federal judge, Jamie practiced law for 15 years. He specialized in helping technology companies. Jamie first ran for the state House in 2006. He lost narrowly but ran again and won in 2008. Jamie serves on the Judiciary and Appropriations Committees and chaired the Judiciary Committee in 2013-2014.read less
