James W. Holzapfel is a former Republican member of the Iowa State Senate, representing District 5. Holzapfel was first elected to the chamber in 2002. He earned his A.A. from Iowa Central Community College in 1968. He went on to receive his B.A. from Buena Vista College in 1970. Holzapfel is the President/Owner of Jim Holzapfel Agency, Incorporated. He has been involved with the following organizations: Chairman, Member, Iowa Pharmacy Board; Member, Sac County Board of Health; and Member, Joint Sac County E911 Service Board.read less
