James V. Gregory is currently seeking election for District Attorney of Humboldt County, California. He has spent 30 years as a deputy district attorney in Humboldt County. Gregory has prosecuted over 100 felony jury trials, including nine homicides. He served as a major crimes prosecutor for over a decade and supervised the DA's sexual assault and child abuse units. Gregory also established an environmental protection unit within the DA's office. If elected, Gregory promises to prioritize public safety while also implementing alternatives to incarceration when appropriate.
