James Cecil Adams was born in Morgan County, Tennessee. He attended public schools and went on to graduate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.S. in Political Science. After college, Adams served active duty in the U.S. Army as an aviation officer. Upon completion of service, he founded a real estate company in Knoxville. Adams has served on the board of many community organizations over the years. He has received awards from the Knoxville Association of Realtors and Knoxville Newcomers Club.read less
