James A. Dunnigan is running for election to the U.S. House to represent the 11th Congressional District of Illinois. Dunnigan was born in Chicago and attended public schools. He earned his law degree from the John Marshall Law School. Dunnigan has served as alderman of the 19th Ward in Chicago and Democratic Committeeman since 2012. He has focused on economic issues, bringing business development and jobs to the south side.
