Jacquelin Maycumber is a Republican member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing District 7. Maycumber was appointed to the chamber in January 2018 to replace Shelly Short, who was appointed to the state senate. Maycumber is a fifth generation farmer and rancher from northeast Washington where her family homesteaded in 1902. She took over operations of her family farm in 2014 after working for a regional telecommunications company.
