Jacob Daniel Banta is from Shelburn, Indiana. He earned his B.A. in Communications and Public Policy from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 2011. After graduation, he worked at a public relations firm before becoming a Policy Analyst for the City of Indianapolis. In 2016, Banta ran for State Representative for Indiana's 46th district. He lost in the general election. He continued working for Indianapolis before becoming Director of Government Affairs for Golden Rule Insurance Company. In 2020, Banta is again running for State Representative of the 46th district.read less
