Jackie H. Glass was elected as the county attorney of Clark County in 1992 and took office the following year. She was subsequently reelected five times before announcing that she would not seek reelection in 2016 after serving for 24 years. Glass has focused on protecting children and families. She helped establish a special victims unit to investigate crimes against children and adults with disabilities. She also started the county's first dedicated Domestic Violence Unit.read less
