Heidi Balderree became politically active while working as a school crossing guard. She helped establish walk and bike paths in Westminster after learning that the city maintained no facilities for children to get to and from school safely. She also worked in an after school mentorship program. Balderree serves on the Westminster Public Safety Commission and as President of the Adams County Young Democrats. She also serves as Precinct Committeeperson for her neighborhood. Balderree works maintaining trails and open spaces in her community.read less
