Geanie W. Morrison is a state representative from Texas. In 1998, Morrison was elected to the Victoria County Commissioners Court. She served in that capacity for six years prior to seeking legislative office. In 2004, Morrison was elected to the Texas House of Representatives for District 30. She has successfully run for reelection every two years since then. Morrison currently serves as Chair of the Committee on Land & Resource Management. She also serves on appropriations and public education committees.read less
