Gary Martin Gearheart has served the citizens of New York since 2019 as a member of the New York State Assembly. He represents the 126th District. Gearheart is a member of the Agriculture, Economic Development, Job Creation, Commerce & Industry, and Minority & Women-Owned Business Enterprises committees. Prior to his election, Gearheart volunteered for 15 years as a firefighter and held leadership roles with local youth organizations. He graduated with an Associate's degree from Jamestown Community College in 2005. Gearheart lives with his wife Jennifer and their two children in Jamestown, New York.read less
