G. A. Hardaway is a native Memphian. His public service began 30 years ago. He served17 years in the Tennessee House of Representatives before being elected to the Tennessee Senate in 2006 where he now serves as Democratic Leader. Senator Hardaway serves on the Senate Commerce & Labor; Ethics; Finance, Ways & Means; and State & Local Government Committees. He is Chairman of the Shelby County Legislative Delegation.read less
