Eric R. Nelson is running as a Republican candidate for the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Virginia. Nelson was born on March 7, 1975. He graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and from Liberty University with a Master's in Business Administration. Nelson is a small business owner. He started a software company in 2002 which creates scheduling and route optimization software for businesses. Nelson serves on several business and economic advisory boards in his community.
