Eric A. Crawford is the Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce for Tennessee. He was first elected in 2004 and was sworn into office in 2005. Prior to becoming Commissioner, Crawford practiced law in Cookeville, Tennessee. He also served in the Tennessee House of Representatives for 6 years, including a term as Majority Leader. Crawford earned his bachelor's degree from Tennessee Tech University in 1978. He earned his law degree in 1981 and a Master of Laws degree in 1985, both from the University of Tennessee.read less
