Eleanor Chavez is a national organizer for the Latino civil rights organization La Raza. She graduated from UCLA in 1995 and then attended Stanford Law School, receiving her J.D. in 1998. After law school, Chavez clerked for a federal judge in Los Angeles before joining a private law firm where she specialized in civil rights cases. In 2005, Chavez left her law practice to become a full-time community organizer and activist.read less
