Edwin Dudley Greene was born in New York and graduated from Hamilton College with a degree in English literature. He worked for IBM, eventually becoming a senior systems engineer. He later worked as a business and technology consultant before deciding to run for Congress. Greene serves on the board of a local food bank and volunteers at animal shelters. He lives in Schenectady, NY with his wife and has two grown children.read less
