ABOUT

Edward D. Cooper is running for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Michigan. Cooper was born in Detroit and went on to graduate from the University of Michigan with a degree in business administration. After working in the private sector for several years, he decided to run for public office. Cooper first ran for a seat in the Michigan House of Representatives in 2010. He went on to serve three terms as a state representative. During his time in the legislature, Cooper focused much of his efforts on education policy and workforce development initiatives. He now hopes to take that experience to Washington D.C. as a member of the U.S. Senate.read less
