Edith Jerry Patterson is running for Texas Commissioner of Agriculture in the 2022 election. Patterson was born in Caldwell, TX in 1959. Patterson graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She later obtained a Master's degree in Agriculture from Texas A&M University. Patterson has worked as an agriculture teacher and FFA advisor. She served on the Burleson County Commissioner's Court. Patterson currently owns a cow-calf operation and hay farm.read less
