Eddie Dean Settle was born in Raleigh, N.C. He graduated from Southern High School. Then he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with a B.A. in political science in 1979. After college, Settle moved to Greensboro and founded Settle Masonry. He serves on the board of the Greensboro Boys and Girls Club. Settle lives in Greensboro with his wife, Jane. They have two children. He is active in his church and enjoys hunting and fishing.read less
