Ed Orcutt is a former small business owner. He is a fifth-generation Washingtonian from Kalama. Orcutt and his wife, Emily, have 2 sons and 2 grandchildren. They enjoy spending time on the Columbia River on their boat. After graduating from Lower Columbia College, Orcutt started a small business. He later sold his business to become a full-time state legislator focusing on supporting workers, families, and small businesses. He was first elected in 2002. Orcutt has sponsored and passed over 50 laws while in the state legislature related to education, public safety, transportation, and more. He serves as the Ranking Member on the House Finance Committee.read less
