Donzella James is a Democratic member of the Georgia State Senate, representing District 35. She was first elected to the chamber in 2009. James earned her B.A. and M.P.A. from Central Michigan University. She has worked as chief of staff for the Fulton County Commission and owned a public relations firm. James serves on several committees, including the Economic Development and Tourism, Ethics, Health and Human Services, and Reapportionment and Redistricting committees.
