Donald A. Guardian was elected to serve as Atlantic County Executive in November 2013. Previously, he served as mayor of Hamilton Township for 16 years, from 1997 through 2013. Guardian began his career in public service in 1988, when he won a seat on Hamilton Township Committee. He served on the committee for nine years before running for mayor. In addition to his political experience, Guardian has owned several small businesses, including an insurance agency. He attended Trenton State College. Guardian and his wife have been married for over 35 years and have two adult children.read less
