Dominick J. Ruggerio is a native Rhode Islander who was first elected to the RI State Senate in 1984. He represents District 4 which encompasses the neighborhoods of Wayland and the highly diverse communities on Providence’s East Side. Senator Ruggerio is currently the Majority Leader of the Rhode Island State Senate, a position he has held since 2007. He is Chairman of the Senate Committee on Rules, Government Ethics and Oversight. He also serves on the Senate Committee on Finance.read less
