Derrick J. Lente is a member of the Sandia Pueblo Indian tribe. He earned his B.S. in Finance from Arizona State University in 1992. Lente was elected to the Southern Sandoval County Arroyo Flood Control Authority in 2010. He then served on the Santo Domingo Tribal Council from 2012-2016. During that time, he was chairman of the Tribal Gaming Enterprise Board. In 2016, Lente won election to the New Mexico House of Representatives to represent District 65 as a Democrat. He sits on several committees including Taxation and Revenue and Transportation and Public Works.read less
