Denise Epstein was born and raised in Suffolk County, New York. She graduated from Stony Brook University with a degree in political science. After college, Denise worked for the Suffolk County Legislature. In 2010, Denise ran for New York State Assembly and won. She has served four terms in office. As an Assemblywoman, Denise authored legislation dealing with issues like gun safety, the opioid crisis, and climate change. She lives in Setauket with her husband and two sons.read less
