David Vinzant is a Republican candidate for District 3 in the South Carolina House of Representatives. David graduated from The Citadel with a degree in business administration. He later graduated from the Charleston School of Law. David is an Army veteran. He served as a medical platoon leader and company commander while on active duty before transitioning to the U.S. Army Reserve. David achieved the rank of Major before retiring from military service in 2016 after serving for over 23 years.read less
