David R. Suetterlein is a Republican member of the Virginia State Senate, representing District 19. He assumed office on January 11, 2016. Senator Suetterlein serves on the following committees: Agriculture, Conservation and Natural Resources (Member), Commerce and Labor (Member), Education and Health (Member), Finance (Member), Privileges and Elections (Member), and Rules (Member). He is also the Chairman of the Rehabilitation and Social Services committee. Prior to his election, Suetterlein worked as an attorney.
