David Owen is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 148. He was first elected to the chamber in 2018. Owen is an attorney who owns and operates Owen Law, PC in South Wales, New York. His legal practice focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, estate planning and administration, and business law. Prior to opening his own firm, Owen worked as an associate attorney with Mattar D’Agostino in Buffalo, New York. Owen sits on the Assembly Committees on Aging, Local Governments, and Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports Development. He is also a member of the Business Council of New York State.read less
