David G. Valadao was born and raised in Hanford, California. After high school, he attended the College of the Sequoias in Visalia before going into the dairy business. Along with his brothers, Valadao has worked to continue expanding their dairy while keeping true to their commitment to environmental stewardship. In 2012, Valadao was elected to represent California's 21st Congressional District. In Congress, his focus has been on advancing commonsense policies and reforms related to agriculture, water infrastructure, immigration reform policies that complement border security measures, and increased economic opportunities for families and small businesses.read less
