David Buehler works as a public school teacher. He taught history, economics, and government for over two decades. He served in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War. After leaving the Army, he joined Teach for America where he taught at-risk students in South Texas. Buehler later moved to Austin and continued teaching. He has been active in his local teachers association and serves on the executive boards of TSTA and TFA alumni association.read less
