Daniel P. Troy is the former chief counsel for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). He served in that position from August 2001 to November 2004. Prior to joining the FDA, Troy served as a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Wiley, Rein & Fielding. His practice focused on food and drug as well as environmental law. Troy provided representation for companies regulated by various health and safety agencies including the FDA, EPA, CPSC and OSHA.read less
