Daniel B. Elliott was Colorado state representative for District 26. He assumed office in 2005. Rep. Elliott serves as chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and sits on the House Finance Committee. Prior to his election, Rep. Elliott served as deputy district attorney for the 18th Judicial District. He has experience prosecuting homicides, sexual assaults, domestic violence and crimes against children. Rep. Elliott also served as chief counsel and director of enforcement for the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies Division of Insurance.read less
