Daniel Antonio Alvarez is the Democratic whip and represents the 4th District in the Texas House of Representatives. He ran for re-election to the Texas House of Representatives to represent District 4 in 2022. Alvarez is currently serving on the House Redistricting Committee and the Public Health Committee. Previously he served on the Economic and Small Business Development Committee and Local and Consent Calendars Committee.
