Daniel Antonio Alvarez is the Democratic whip and represents the 4th District in the Texas House of Representatives. He ran for re-election to the Texas House of Representatives to represent District 4 in 2022. Alvarez is currently serving on the House Redistricting Committee and the Public Health Committee.
