Damond T. Ford was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. After graduating high school, Damond attended Indiana University in Bloomington. He graduated in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in finance. After college, Damond moved to Indianapolis and began working in the financial industry. He spent over a decade working for various financial and investment firms before deciding to run for State Representative. In 2018, Damond won the election for Indiana House of Representatives District 33. He is currently serving his first term representing parts of Indianapolis. Damond sits on the Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee in the Indiana House.read less
