Damon Connolly graduated from Drake University in 1990 with a degree in politics. After working abroad in Armenia, he returned to the U.S. to attend law school at the University of California, Berkeley. After law school, Connolly worked as a deputy public defender in Los Angeles before moving back to Marin County in 2001 to serve as an assistant district attorney. He went on to prosecute felony trials before being elected to the San Rafael City Council in November 2007. Connolly was later elected as a Marin County supervisor in 2010 and served two terms before winning election to the California State Assembly in 2016 representing California’s 12th Assembly District.read less
