Cyril Aures is a Libertarian candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Texas. Aures was born in Galveston, TX. He received his BA in economics and philosophy from Rice University in 2020. After graduating, he started a political commentary website and began working as a delivery driver. Aures is running for Congress because he believes there needs to be "more decentralization and less spending" in government. Some of his key campaign issues include reducing national debt, reforming Social Security and Medicare, and protecting civil liberties.
