Clayton Sasser obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Fort Valley State University. He served in the U.S. Army for over 21 years on active duty and in the National Guard and Reserves. Sasser and his wife Ruth own a tire service company. They have three children. He is a 33 Year Master Mason with the Prince Hall Affiliation. Sasser served as State Representative and Senator in the Georgia General Assembly. He has served on various committees including Veterans Affairs and Homeland Security. Sasser has received endorsements from the Georgia Association of Educators and the Georgia AFL-CIO.read less
