Clarence L. Styvar was born in Linwood, MI. He graduated from Bay City Central High School. Styvar served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Styvar worked as a Union Pipefitter at several refineries and power plants across Michigan before opening a manufacturing business, Great Lakes Castings in Pinconning, which he owned and operated for over 25 years before retiring. He served as Pinconning Area Ambulance Service Director.read less
