Cindy L. Golding was born in 1962 in Reno, Nevada. She received her B.A. degree in Education at the University of Nevada in 1988. Golding taught elementary school in the Washoe County School District for over 20 years. In 2010, she was elected to the Nevada State Assembly to represent District 35. During her time in the Assembly, Golding served on several education committees. She advocated for increased funding for schools, smaller class sizes, and higher teacher pay.read less
