Cheryl A. Golek is running for election to the Connecticut State Senate to represent District 19. She served on the Windham town council from 1983 to 1995, serving as deputy mayor from 1986 to 1988. Golek earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Eastern Connecticut State University in 1981. She previously worked for Aetna Plywood from 1968 to 1980 where she held positions including office manager. Golek is now retired.read less
