Caryn Tyson is a fifth generation Kansan. She graduated from Kansas State University with degrees in Marketing and Agriculture Economics. In 2017, Caryn was sworn in for her fourth term representing the people of Kansas Senate District 21 which includes all of Linn and Miami counties as well as portions of northern Johnson County. She currently serves as Chair of Senate Assessment and Taxation and Vice Chair of both Federal and State Affairs and Ethics, Elections & Local Government committees.read less
