Carroll M. Brown was born in Wellington, KS on June 12, 1951. He received his B.S. in chemistry from Kansas University in 1975. In 1974, he married Louise Jones. They have two children. In 1981, Brown started a chemical supply business which expanded into three locations across Kansas. He served on the Wellington City Council from 1992-1996 where he focused on economic development and budget issues. In 2010, Brown won election to the Kansas State Senate.read less
