Carol Fukunaga is a member of the Senate for District 11 in Hawaii. She has previously served in the Hawaii House of Representatives since 1984. Before entering politics, Senator Fukunaga served as a curriculum coordinator and teacher in Hawaii public schools. Fukunaga chairs the Senate Committee on Economic Development & Technology and serves as vice chair of the Committee on Human Services. She is also a member of the Committees on Education; Higher Education; Transportation & International Affairs; and Government Operations.
